Katie
Daddy's girl was she,
Carved out her territory,
Barely room for me!
Accepted mid age,
From a pal with allergies,
Katie the Tabby.
Jake
Even keeled, white Jake,
With one blue eye and one green,
Came along with Kate!
Loved his Mom and Dad,
A whole bunch of cats and dogs,
And we loved him too!
Ninny
Oh rescued wildcat,
With your brown, black, orange swirls,
Sad eyes brought you home.
Seventeen years old,
Without much time for others,
Feisty cat, Ninny.
Alvin
Southern gentleman,
Black Lab and full of loving,
Dignified and true.
What a special dog,
Intuitive and gentle,
No other, Alvin!
Scottie
Golden Scottie boy,
With a runaway Mamma,
Quickly made a name,
Part cat and part dog,
Such a well adjusted guy,
A sweet smile maker!
Aunt Baby
Yellow puppy Lab,
Beautiful, kind and giving,
Raised from just a kid,
Today such wisdom,
Mingled with fun and play,
Wonder dog, Baby.
I feel I have been blessed with the most beautiful fur babies ever in this Mother's eyes! I will always love each of them for the fun we shared, their unique personalities, the lessons learned from each and their unconditional love! These little ditties are dedicated to each one of my kids!

I am so glad you saw this, as we were definitely on the same wavelength! Chai Cat and Katie are sisters from a former life. I never stood a chance with her, clearly feeling disdain from the moment she laid eyes on me.
Now MY precious Ninny abhorred her Pappa, except when he was on meal duty, of course! Cats can be fickle pickles, yet Jake and Scottie were so good with all.
We feel so blessed with the two coolest Labs, now Baby being my world! I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks, mar.

I don't think that I have met a more nurturing friend in this Hub community, and I say this from the bottom of my heart.
You have a way of writing the kindest comments to everyone. You extend yourself and try to get people to meet each other/ read each other's work. You keep us smiling, laughing, thinking, frightened, so many other emotions with your awesome work...... and you ask us thought provoking questions so we can all get to know each other better. Where would we all be without our loves. I have a orange cat very much like Scottie and he is my baby for sure. Cute and fun hub.
We have (had) the same basic animal family, with a yellow and black lab, and various cats, including stray and feral rescues.

I loved seeing all your fur babies. This hub is a beautiful tribute to them. I also have much loved fur babies who have passed on, as well as present ones. It's a great shame that dogs and cats don't live as long as humans, but they do leave us with lovely memories! Thanks also for the information about Novelty Fiction.

These fur angels have seen me through the good times and the bad, really over the last 25 years of my life.
You are correct in that each has been so unique, bringing their own special personalities and gifts along with their unconditional love. Hugs, mar.
What a kind heart to take in those lovelies whose parents had allergies. Each pair of these warm eyes hold such deep and meaningful glances. Completely irresistible. I'm sad for your many losses over the years and know how difficult it is to lose a precious member of the family.
This is a lovely tribute to those special ones who are no longer with us here. One day we will see them again. Aunt Baby carries with her all their knowledge and memories. Tony sends a big sloppy kiss to her and you both. Lots of love to you, sista.

Despite missing all of our fur babies who have left us for now, they have added such joy and richness to our world. Our dear Aunt Baby just celebrated her 8th birthday earlier in the month, such a honey! I know she and Tony would be fast friends...as we are!
